  • Select or create a backup storage location where backups will be stored.

Setting Up Backup Plans

  • In the Virtualizor Admin Panel, navigate to the 'Backup Plans' section.

  • Click on 'Add Backup Plan'.

  • Enter the plan details such as Plan Name, Backup Frequency (e.g., daily, weekly), and Backup Rotation (how many backups to keep).

  • Select the backup storage previously configured.

  • Save the backup plan.

Assigning Backup Plans to Virtual Servers

  • Go to the 'Virtual Servers' section in the dashboard.

  • Choose a virtual server to back up and edit its settings.

  • Under the Backup Plan section, select the backup plan you created.

  • Save the changes to apply the backup plan to the virtual server.

Monitoring Backups

  • Regularly check the 'Backups' section in Virtualizor to monitor backup status and health.

With scheduled backups in place, your Virtualizor virtual servers will be automatically backed up according to the frequency and rotation you've set. This practice ensures that your data is securely backed up and can be restored in case of any data loss or corruption.
