How to Create Sub-Accounts and User Permissions in My Cubes

If you manage servers with business partners, co-owners, developers, or accounting staff, sharing your main Cubes account password poses a security risk. Sub-Accounts (User Management) in the My Cubes Client Area allow you to invite secondary users and grant them specific access permissions—such as opening support tickets, paying invoices, or managing active services—without giving them full control over your main account.

This guide will show you how to invite sub-accounts and configure granular permissions on Cubes Hosting.

Step 1: Access User Management in My Cubes

1. Log in to the My Cubes Client Portal using your main account email and password.
2. Click your account name in the top-right user menu.
3. Select User Management (or Account Details > User Management).

Step 2: Invite a New User / Sub-Account

1. In the User Management section, locate Invite New User.
2. Enter the email address of the person you wish to invite (e.g. [email protected] or [email protected]).
3. Under Permissions, choose between All Permissions or Choose Permissions to grant specific access:

Granular Permission Options:

• Billing & Invoices: Allows the user to view invoices, make payments, and manage billing methods.
