When purchasing or renewing a hosting service using PayPal, PayPal creates an Automatic Payment Billing Agreement (recurring subscription) to ensure your server renews seamlessly without interruption.
If you request a service cancellation or prefer to pay future invoices manually, you must also cancel the automatic payment agreement directly inside your PayPal dashboard to prevent PayPal from sending future recurring payments.
Why You Must Cancel in PayPal: Due to PayPal's security and financial privacy rules, hosting providers (including Cubes Hosting) cannot automatically cancel or delete PayPal automatic payment agreements on your behalf. Requesting a cancellation in My Cubes cancels your server subscription with us, but you must manually revoke the billing agreement inside PayPal to stop PayPal from sending automatic payments.
