At Cubes Hosting, we are deeply saddened by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine. We firmly support Ukraine and stand in solidarity with those affected by the violence. We believe in the pursuit of peaceful resolutions and strongly condemn unprovoked aggression.

We also recognize that this conflict affects many innocent civilians who seek peace and bear no responsibility for these actions. Irrespective of personal sympathies, as a registered company operating within the European Union (The Netherlands), our business operations are strictly governed by international laws, mandatory sanctions, and trade embargoes.

Trade Bans and Sanctions Compliance

As a proud European company, we stand firmly behind the regulatory frameworks established by the European Union. Under EU trade laws (such as Council Regulation No 833/2014) and Dutch national law, Cubes Hosting is strictly prohibited from providing enterprise management software, targeted IT infrastructure deployment, design software, or cybersecurity services to the Russian government and sanctioned corporate entities. Furthermore, we maintain a zero-tolerance policy for doing business with any individual or entity explicitly listed on the EU Sanctions Consolidated List.

While EU trade laws do not impose a blanket ban on the provision of basic, retail-level consumer services (such as standard Game Servers for personal use) to ordinary individuals, we subject any such operations to intense legal scrutiny. We are legally permitted to process payments and host data for ordinary citizens of the Russian Federation only under the absolute condition that those individuals have zero government ties, do not utilize sanctioned financial institutions, and never violate our strict acceptable use policies.

These severe sanctions and strict prohibitions apply universally to all globally sanctioned territories, including but not limited to Belarus, Iran, North Korea, Syria, and any other nation, region, or entity designated under comprehensive EU or international restrictive measures.

Prohibited Usage and "Bulletproof" Hosting

As a Dutch hosting provider, we must walk an incredibly strict legal tightrope to stay compliant. Regulators and the Dutch Fiscal Intelligence and Investigation Service (FIOD) consider server space to be an "economic resource." We refuse to operate as a "bulletproof" host. If we ignore abuse complaints or allow state-sponsored actors to run cyberattacks from our hardware, we face asset freezes and criminal charges.

Because we operate out of the Netherlands, we are legally bound to strictly vet our clients. Our services are intended solely for lawful and peaceful purposes. We strictly prohibit the use of any Cubes Hosting infrastructure for:

• The hosting of sanctioned government websites, applications, or state-affiliated media.
• The spread of state-sponsored propaganda, misinformation, or hate speech.
• Military, cyber-warfare, or espionage usage by any party.
• The sale, facilitation, or transport of goods that are subject to European or international trade embargoes.

We actively monitor our network for compliance. We will immediately terminate, without refund, any accounts that utilize our infrastructure for malicious activities or violate these sanctions. Our commitment to these laws ensures we maintain the highest standards of legal conduct while protecting the integrity of our network.
